Help Firefox hijacks URL, Can't get Chrome offered. Help???

Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini
FF installed. Grabbed default browser allocation. Unset the default, but now I don't get offered Chrome.
Uninstalled Firefox and still don't get Chrome offered.

How do you reset the default setting for it to offer all installed browsers?

eg Chrome, "internet" and FireFox.
and maybe others not yet installed.

I am testing my website and the debug via USB has failed in the past.
Local (ie SD card) fails for some reason, and web version is less than ideal.
I need local usage for my own purposes.

To clear individual defaults, go to Settings, apps, find the app in the ALL tab, tap "clear defaults" .
To clear all defaults, go to Settings, apps, menu button, reset app preferences
