Help Firefox? I never downloaded that???

For some reason, at random times usually when I unlock my phone or wake it up, I have a Firefox browser window open up. I have a picture of what I see but can't figure out how to show it here. Thing is, I've no Firefox app in my list of apps, or to my knowledge, downloaded any junk that might have this buried in there - I'm happy using chrome. Firefox doesn't come up as a suggested browser when I click on a link somewhere, link chrome or the normal browser icon. Also, if I google "Firefox Android Browser" not a single image is similar to what I have come up. So I've no idea what this is or where it's from. Any ideas? Malicious...?

Go to settings>>>apps and uninstall it.

Uninstall firefox in app settings like AMOCO said. Or go through all the apps and look for firefox icon if you don't find firefox there.

From what you've written it doesn't sound like you actually have Firefox installed. Which makes me wonder whether this is some adware that's pretending to be Firefox in order to appear more trustworthy?

(I do have Firefox on my phone, which works just fine for me, though I'm using Ghostery more at the moment. I've never heard of Firefox using dodgy techniques to install via a back door, which is another reason I suspect this isn't actually Firefox).
