Firefox not compatible with Galaxy Ace?

Not really happy with the stock browser but since Chrome android won't ever work on the Ace I have just put up with it.

Today I was reading about the new and improved Firefox for android (last time I tried Firefox on android it was disappointing) so went to Google Play to install it, only to find it says it's incompatible with the Ace.

Seems I am finding more reasons to regret getting this phone all the time and I'm stuck with it for at least another 14 months :(

Why are you running after something that was originally created for desktop computers, this is ANDROID, what works good on PC does not necessarily works good on android, there is stuff on android you can never do on your pc :D

There are great browser apps for android, and most of them works really well on ACE, you should try those instead of crying after stuff that don't even want to support us.

I will recommend Dolphin browser, UC browser and Opera.

Wasn't Opera created for desktop computers? :)
I have tried Opera before but took it off my phone after a few days, though I can't remember what the problem was.
I was mainly interested in the touted speed of the new firefox but UC Browser looks very interesting.

Having said that, I have been using the stock browser on the Missus' Google Nexus One and found that on the same wi-fi connection in the same room, her browser loads everything about 3 times faster so the problem is more likely my Ace.

In any case, I'm pre-ordering a Google Nexus 7 tablet so I will probably use that for casual browsing and go back to using my Ace for proper phone stuff, such as taking pictures and listening to music.

Hi,
Hope you'll enjoy your tablet.
And btw "using your Ace for the proper phone stuff, such as taking pictures and listening to music": I may be far off, but when I dig deep into my memory the proper phone stuff used to be making calls! :D
