Help Firmware not updating

Hi guys

I know there are lots of topics about this but seriously this is extremely frustrating. I have the galaxy ace its 2 weeks old. my laptop is an hp dv 6000 newest Kies software. I even tried it with the new pc studio from samsung but that didnt work either as it said unregistered phone model or something like that.

So i plug the phone in. It connects and askes if I would like to update it from KB1 to KP1. I say yes. I backup then it starts downloading while it does that the connect for the phone says lost. doesnt connect back until the download is finished. I then try updating again. after the backup screen it says conection lost. I tried it on other computers. I tried reinstalling the Kies software. I tried taking the SD card out. I tried everything. Only thing i havent tried is putting the phone in download mode and trying but i dont think that would work.

Please if someone knows what to do let me know.
Im begging. I love this phone

for android phones you must use Kies not Studio.
it is normal, when download is finish the kies ask you too run usb mode, ( NOT kies mode ) too transfer the file, after preparing to install, your phone restart, then you can change the mode too kies, and the update is finished.( the kies said step to step what you do ).

my bro firstly youre english is horrible.... lol but ye dude ive tried with usb storage on and off still disconnects phone or when i first plug in says unable to get model information from server or something stupid like that.... but the oaks at samsung phoned and said its not working cause the new update was recalled(gingerbread) so i must wait till the 29th of july then try. Hopefully itl work
