Root Firmware/ROM Downloads

Nothing fancy here, with the July 20 update for the MetroPCS Avant I decided to make it a little easier to find stock firmwares as well as dfuse's rom's. Of course all credit goes to him, I simply put them up with his permission to make them easier to find. So thank him not me.

dfuse's roms are running too good on...

Thanks to him!

I've been reading a lot on this forum... I'm new to all this but its awesome... I've flashed everything possible and its cool to mess around with... I finally got the adreno drivers and the video works great but I can't live without the camera lol. I can't wait until I can flash a very stable custom rom... You guys are amazing though

Both the roms I linked to have working camera and everything else. You're flashing some seriously old stuff if you had to flash adreno drivers and don't have a camera lol

I hope flashing this stock firmware you posted will work because my computer won't recognize the phone... I wanted to go back to stock using kies and when I plug in avant it says USB not recognized... I think it happened after I flashed a custom recovery

Oh wow lol! Yeah I guess I'm behind. I'm a little slow right now ha-ha... Awesome man! Thank you! Which one should I get in your opinion so I can set it up tonight and be done with it for a little while?

But can you use Odin? If so there should be no problem, flash firmware and you're good to go. They're both pretty solid, I would get AOKP just because there's a lot more you can customize and it was worked on the most.

No Odin won't recognize it either. Its really weird and last week I lost my custom recovery and so I thought I bricked it... I somehow uninstalled the driver from my phone and it plugged it back in and my computer recognized it and I used Odin to flash twrp back on... Thanks for the help man and will my 4.4.4 gapps work with the aokp? I've never used aokp so I'm about to do it!

Everyone on the forum are so impatient and demand a release date lol and here I am showing up late to the party... Its really not that old though. I got cm11 like 2 months ago

Oh that's a simple fix for the recents button. The file that handles what each button does was missing a line and I just added it and made the zip. As for WiFi, don't hold you breath, the guy that was making cm12.1 gave up on WiFi and the rom in general.

Sweet I have 2 mins left on aokp download.. I will stick around man! I used to be into jail breaking iphones for ppl but I realize how much better android is now... Just everything is so much better!

Ah OK that's cool thanks man! Well that's the one everyone wants to be stable haha... Well if they want it I guess they can learn to Dev and do it themselves haha

Lol yeah people want lollipop bad but need to learn a little patience. And alright should go smoothly

No problem, anything else comes up you're more than welcome to ask.
Awesome thank you!Yeah , its being a laggy... Man I like this one better than cm.. Maybe it's the keyboard. I'm going to try to fix that and then get a theme. I know finding a paid theme for cm was hard lol. I get high off getting stuff for free
