Help Firmware update progress stuck at 0

Hello,

When i installed Kies and connected my Galaxy Tab GT-P1000, it suggested me firmware upgrade to Ver 12.09.14.03. on my tab screeen it says Downloading "Do Not turn off target" but the percentage in kies is 0% from past 1 hour.
Please help me how to escape from this firmware upgrade. Can i unplug the cable? or turn off either PC or TAB?

please help here.
