I check on a regular basis for updates to the firmware on my S5 hoping that Lollipop is being put out by U.S. Cellular. Yesterday, I got a message there was an update, so, I updated. However, I am still on 4.4.2. I have no idea what the update did. Anyone have any idea?

That's probably an old Android 4.4.2 bugfix update to NK1 that is on an 8th November build and was released by US Cellular, CSC code USC, in December.
