Root Firmware Updates, WiFi Only (NO SERVICE)

so i have a prevail, long story short, it was rooted, now its timie to sell it, so i unrooted it, but had to reflash a rooted boost image, DONE...

But its on FROYO still...
but the service was turned off.

I want to UPDATE it to latest info.

So is it possible over WiFi?
or Manual download of the files, then run from SD card

I have gotten updates on wifi only on both the prevail and my SGS2. At first I thought it was crazy as I live in a bad cell area and have no service in the house and I was in airplane mode with only wifi on, but the update did arrive
