I am fed up of the firmware up gradation now.. now it just shows downloading and then it shows an error message saying the firmware upgrade cannot be performed so i would have to go for emergency recovery...
I followed the link and upgraded to the latest European firmware, even though i m from India, coz it seems that the Asian firmwares are in chinese and are missing some google widgets. It works great.
But i m having a slight problem restoring the contacts the way i had them befor. Actually i joined together contacts from my phone and the ones downloaded from google and facebook. But now after restoring the contacts that i saved on my computer using kies and syncing with the facebook and google servers, there are a lot of redundant entries. I m fed up of removing them one by one. Can u plz suggest me a way by which i can b backup and restore my contacts exactly in the format that they were, while future firmware upgrades?
Thanx.
