Help Firmware Upgrade, Kies Hanging

Hi

i installed Kies on my PC and when i connected I got this message





when i go through the steps it starts 'downloading upgrade components' but hangs at 99%.


i'm also just wondering if this is a necessary upgrade
looking through my settings on phone i see Android 4.0.3

ok got it sorted

have Kies on my MBPro too and it upgraded to probs on there

i now have 4.0.4

are you using the windows version?

i used the mac version and it worked fine. do you have a friend who might have a macbook?
