Listen, I think i read somewhere that there are a total of "12 viruses floating around for android".. (about a month ago).
To be honest, read the comments before you download apps, and dont go on suspicious sites that you wouldnt visit on your computer.
Look at what websites you normally visit, and youll realize that its like 8 or 10. I bet you never got a virus form them! (except if you used Auctiva 2 years ago.. man I hate Auctiva..fffuuuu)..
IM not worried about any viruses, as Im never first to download an App (let alone a free one), and dont visit any websites I dont normally go on through my PC. Plus, if you go to a site by googling it, google can tell you if the site is virus/malware ridden before you enter.
I dont think this is worth much attention now, but you are correct, eventually, as we use our phones more and more, I am sure viruses will become a major issue in the future. Although if you stick to your 'routine', you should have nothing to worry about!
