First bill is too high.

I believe you are always (technically) paying a month in advance. So the first bill includes one full month/billing cycle in advance, in addition to the pro-rated amount from the month/billing cycle that just passed. (also any activation fees, if applicable.)

PS. I will agree, the first bill is scary. But it gets better... LOTS better. :-)
 
Maybe $244 isn't so high if you have 7 lines, all with data plans, or unlimited plans. Whatcha got?

I'm also curious as to what he has. I have 4 lines, all smart phone. 1 Evo, 2 Lg optimus S, and a blackberry and we are on the everything data plan I think with unlimited data, texting, mobile to mobile any carrier, and have the 1500 minutes to share between if we call landlines or roam and I only pay $171 for 4 lines. great deal in my book
 
The people who sold you the phone should've gave you the estimate of how much the 1st bill would be. Also when you buy the phone, Sprint is the 1st person you have to call because your call won't go through. Sprint will tell you how much that 1st bill will be and how much you'll be paying monthly. Unless both of these people dropped the ball on telling you, you already knew that the initial was going to be high.
 
also.. maybe the cost of the phone(s) where on there as well... if ordered with sprint online.
 
Same problem here except my pro-rated amounts were already taken care of in the last bill. This bill - nearly $200 for two phones.
