So I'm thinking about picking up a Nexus 5 an this'll be my first stock Android phone. In comparing with the Samsung Galaxy S3 do you guys think it's worth it?
I'm going from an s3, and I can't wait to get away from touchwiz again
Stock android is missing a lot of features that Samsung added in. Some find these useful and miss them in stock android, others (myself included) think they're just bloat.
What stock is missing in "bells and whistles" it makes up for in speed, fluidity, and always being on the latest version of android
I think if you were to really compare between the two it would be between the S4 and the Nexus 5. I have an S3 as well and to be honest can't wait to get my hands on the Nexus 5 but then I am a Google fanatic so my opinion may be a bit skewed. Also it may play into the fact that I dropped my s3 last week and broke the screen...but that is neither here or there. Honestly you couldn't go wrong with either phone but a true pure android phone without the bloat and the fact that the Nexus line gets updates before anyone else should be taken into consideration.
