First time smartphone and data plan user

Bought first smartphone for limited web usage while out and about and as a PDA with easy data backup capabilities. Got a Samsung Galaxy S2 i777 from AT&T for $10 because they have started selling S3. Uses Macbook Pro, Windows XP PC, iPad 2, iPod Touch 3GS. Finds Android frustrating.
