Help FIX: Constant reboot and vibrates every two seconds

The first seller you linked to now offers mail-in repair service too. $39 including shipping to replace the failed power button.

They offer service for lots of Samsung phones, including the i727 Skyrocket.

EDIT: Oh, and they have switches for many Samsung models, if you're more of the DIY type.

(My Sprint Epic Touch had a similar problem. I ordered a power switch, replaced it, and phone has been great since.)

The first link I put up IS a mail in repair service. Nothing new.

The first link is to "Seller A" offering just the bare switch.
The second link is to "Seller B" offering just repair service (and not the switch).

My comment was that "Seller A" now offers
1
mail-in repair service for $39, including return shipping. You don't have to buy a switch from one place and ship the phone to a second place.

Hi All,
I just purchased the switch and the repair service from "Seller B". His name is Steve and he runs a store on Ebay called t989_refurb. The switch and repair are sold as separate auctions, with the total for both being $40. Beats the heck out of buying a new phone, which is what Tmobile told me was my only option! I will post back after the repair is complete to let you know if it was a success.

My phone was doing the same thing. I powered down and removed the battery. Then I took a small amount of Isopropal alcohol, 90% and dripped it down all sides of the power switch. Then for the next 2 minutes I pushed the button repeatedly from all angles. I reinstalled the battery and all is good. It has been 3 weeks without any issues. I use my phone a lot during each day so it is well tested.

I'd fix it for free if you allow me. had this issue, the phone suffered this reboot loop for three days. but then this happened:(A post i made earlier)
its a sticky power button. i tried everything mentioned on the internet, like beating the crap out of te phone and all. but one day i was driving(on the way to the cellphone market to get it fixed) with the phone on the dashboard. when i picked it up, it was hot as hell due to the sunlight. but worked like a charm since then. try putting it to direct sunlight for a while. Normally a sticky button is caused by moisture in form of water or sweat.
