[FIX] Fixing Wifi/date when you are abroad

If your date is around 1/7/1980 and has some random time frame, you will need to correct your system time. Correcting the time is easy and fixes multiple issues with your phone such as accessing the market and gmail over wifi.


1) Go to System -> Applications
2) Allow Unknown Sources and confirm.
3) Open your phone's browser and click this link

Cause
When people travel with the VM Optimus Elite, they may notice an incorrect system time and date. From what I've seen through logcat, this phone requires a data connection/service in order to correctly display time.

thank you,this issue occurs also when the network dies completely no matter where you are. absolutely ridiculous to build a phone this way..1980...who programmed this piece of *crap* (edited for the children)..? former microsoft dos flunkies???
