Fix for being Stuck on 3g/1x / No battery saved from turning 4g off

If your phone gets stuck on 3g or 1x, switch on airplane mode, then switch it back off. If its still stuck, you'll need to get better coverage.

Also I've noticed that my motion doesn't seem to save much battery when I disable 4g through ##626*. Anyone else notice a difference?

The difference is night and day in parts of Chicago (extended home area). You must be somewhere with great coverage.


I went from my phone lighting a fire in my pocket and dying after 6 hours in IDLE (yes, without using it at all and with a brand new battery) to losing only 8% for every 6 hours by turning LTE off. And functionally it made no difference for me, I'm not a heavy data user. If I'm going to look up something on wikipedia, the difference between 1x,3G, and 4G is really negligible.
