In order to backup to SD card on Android 5.1.1
We must open Titanium Backup's preferences and change a few options.

Create "TitaniumBackup" at the root of your external SD Card, or copy the folder from your Internal Storage to your external SD card if it already exists.

+ Click Menu at the Top right hand of the Overview portion of the app.
+ Open Preferences
+ Click Backup folder location.
Near the top is Storage Provider: _____ (click to change).
+ Click and change to Document provider storage.
A window with a listing should popup giving you the choice of "SD Card" and "Internal Storage"
+ Select "SD Card".
+ Select the root directory by using the Select "SD Card"button at the bottom of the window displaying all of the files located on your SD Card.
Scroll the list once you are in the root directory for the folder that you created, or moved to the SD card.
+ Choose USE THE CURRENT FOLDER once it throws you back to the window inside Titanium Backup.

The DETECT! button should list [External Storage]/TitaniumBackup to the side of it.
There should be a listing of how many backups are present if the folder was copied, otherwise it will notify you no backups are present.

You are DONE !
