Help Fixing Tablet

Hey all, I'm new here and I am having some trouble with my sons tablet. We got him a Contixo (Model Q105) quad core tablet this past christmas. Recently my eldest had reset his tablet for him and since then we have not been able to connect to the google services, it was able to connect to the network but something just was not working with google services. I tried resetting the tablet again to factory defaults but it did nothing. Today I was looking around online for a way to reinstall the android OS on the tablet using a sd card. I found a website that suggested using this program called PhoenixCard to set up a microSD card with a android OS image that the site also provided for a 10" quad core tablet....it worked in that it installed the OS on the tablet, however now the tablet cannot connect to a network. Seems like the version of android that I installed just didnt include wifi with it?? Not sure what to do about my situation, I would like to be able to get it working again for him.
So my question for you all is this, is there a better way to install the android OS on the tablet that will enable the wifi? If so could you all point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance for any assistance.
