Help Flash Player

Newbie
Really Sorry to ask this, but anyway, I have a Galaxy S3 here in the UK, I've installed (what I think?) is the latest Flash update for the phone (Flash 11.1_11.1.115.12.apk) but it says I need to install a plug in, and a site I'm trying to get onto with it (goalunited.org) says flash couldn't be found on my system. Can anyone help explain what to do please? I'm most definitely a newbie as it's my first smartphone. Thanks.

its still available for install they are not making any updates for it, if u click on the link it still opens and lets u install.

Do you have flash enabled in your browser. I can confirm that goalunited runs on the gs3 on jellybean although can be a bit temperamental at times.

You can get it from Adobe.

Direct download link>>download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/installers/archive/android/11.1.115.20/install_flash_player_ics.apk

This^^^^^^^is the method I've used on other phones as well, just gotta enable side-loading of applications from other sources outside of the GOOGLE PLAY STORE.

Go to MENU/SETTINGS/SECURITY/DEVICE ADMINISTRATION & check the UNKNOWN SOURCES box beforehand.May want to un-check this box once you've loaded this up,if security for side-loading other applications is not desired.

Don't know, I'm not exactly certain as to how to enable it

Which browser are you using? For the stock internet app, open it up, press menu, settings, advanced and then make sure enable javascript and enable plugins are on.

Come to think of it. When I flashed a custom Rom with flash pre installed I received that message when trying to access goalunited. It wouldn't work until I restored my backup of flash version 11.1.115.27

Well I don't know how, but I've enabled it. The only problem now is even when the cursor is flashing in the username/password boxes on goalunited, what i'm putting in, isn't coming up, as though I haven't put anything in at all.

Except I don't see a 'settings' bit to click on on Firefox.......but I've found another issue anyway, as noted above.

Yeah it can be temperamental like that. Just press back or try pressing in the boxes again and scroll about a little and press again. If still no joy just press one letter or number at a time and then press your back button. The single letter should be displayed so just repeat this until you're done. A bit annoying the first time but you can save the details so no need to do it again. Zoom probably won't work either when you're logged in so if you end up zoomed in when you log in you'll have to back out and log back in.

It works fine on dolphin and the stock browser. I'm actually glad you asked about this. I'd never tried it on the stock jellybean browser so just gave it a go now to check and the zoom and scroll feature which never worked on ics stock is working perfectly.

Grrrrr, it allowed me to put my username in, now I try and zoom or click in the password section and the keyboard isn't coming up.
