Help Flash problem

I had my phone since February and now, my flashlight ain't working. Please help me cause I downloaded a flashlight app and I did not work. Can I do something about this?

If it was me... I'd back up my data... Factory reset it, check if it works... then file a warranty claim if it doesn't

Try going into your Settings >> Application manager and find this flashlight app. Select it, tap on the 'Force stop' button, then the 'Clear data' button, then the 'Uninstall' button. Now go back to Google Play and reinstall the app, and see if it works this time. If not, uninstall it and try a different flashlight app.

Does the flash work on the camera if you turn it on? If not probably dud flash and warranty claim. If it does work as above, try clearing cache / data / reinstall torch app.
Also can check if the flash is dud by testing in service menu. Google *your device* service menu to find the code to type.
