Root Flash recovery via terminal emulator?

Just miss rz recovery, tried flashing it on ZVD with the laptop that did it before. It doesnt work now no matter what I do. As we all know, cwm can be flashed via rom manager. I was wondering how we could use an app of some sort to flash rzr on the phone without the laptop. Maybe terminal emulator?
 
TE won't work. I tried it a while ago (I use to do it with TE on the Ascend) and it wouldn't work and had asked PG but can't remember why he said it wouldn't.

But, with the ascend, we had 2 or 3 cwm recoveries that weren't in rom manager but you could still use rom manager to flash them. When you push flash recovery it downloads the recovery and you could use a file manager and go into the clockwork>recoveries folder after it downloaded the recovery image and replace the one it downloaded with the other that wasn't in rom manager (just name the one you replace with to the same name of the one that downloaded) then go back into rom manager and press the flash recovery and it'd flash the one you put in there. If that would work with Rzr I'm not sure.

Ill give that a shot right now. However last time i tried an operation like that( without the purpose of flashing a different recovery, just to be sure it flashed) it downloaded it again. -.-
Edit: yep, it redownloaded the recovery then flashed it
