Help flash update

I have disabled auto updates ,but on two occasions now the Flash update has installed without my knowledge.
Any way of preventing it ,i know it would be nice to keep it updated ,but not at the expense of 10mb of valuable space.

Have you went to market to the flash app and checked to see if automatic update is checked? And the 10mb update for the most part just replaces the original 10mb application

What does it say is the total size of flash? Mine has updated at least 4 times since 2.2 and it's still sitting at 10mb

11mb.

It installed on top of the other, as it has with many other users here.

On top of, meaning added to what was already there, i.e. it increased by 11mb!

No my TOTAL space used by flash is 10.96mb... after updating at least 5 times. It doesn't add 10mb every time it updates

The man speaks the truth, I only just thought to look into it and have cleared 11mb just by resetting to the factory version of flash, which I barely use anyway!

Don't remember how big the initial flash DL was but since then i'm on version 10.1.105.6 and showing a total of 10.96mb. Jusy find it hard to believe that since i have updated it 5 times that it would be 50 or 60 mb for some of you guys.
Product of different phones? I don't think so. Wondering in 'Manage applications' how much it says total space is for anyone else, updated or not... again mine says 10.96mb after numerous updates... o well though, no biggie
