Root Flash zips possibly?

I came across a thread for the hydro while looking around the forums and came upon this app named flash Gordon forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2250555 I'm not sure if it will work with a locked boot loader or not, I'm just putting this thread out there for the POSSIBILITY to flash zips without a recovery. Maybe dadcup and DNRDustin can share some knowledge on this subject?

It should work fine on a locked bootloader. There was some dirty coding that I fixed on the version I forked.

From what I can tell, it "should" work. But it could be risky depending on what you're trying to flash, or if you have a bad flash.
