thanks for the personal help... i'm trying to make this gtab not a waste of money...

i fixed my sound issue although not sure what i did... but it works now...

but i do have a few other questions..

1. I prefer firefox as my browser, but want it to use all desktop webpages not mobile webpages. i cant find where to change that setting... which browser do you recommend?

2. What music player do you recommend?

1. As of right now I recommend using opera with a HC Rom since its the only one that allows flash until the new kernel is out.

2. For the music player I use Google music since it lets you upload up to 20,000 songs for free so you can stream them instead of having them take up space on your tablet or phone.
 
Personally I hate Opera mobile (don't download Opera Mini it doesn't play flash videos), but if I need to go to a site with flash on it I use it. In settings you can set it to do desktop as opposed to mobile). Puffin will also allow flash to play although it sometimes play funky.

But my browser of choice is Dolphin HD. If they could only get flash to work on Honeycomb it would be the only browser I would use.
 
I downloaded Firefox and it doesn't allow desktop view.

Personally I love the stock chrome-like browser in honeycomb but don't use it due to lack of flash. Dolphin HD is OK but seems a little slow when.compared to opera plus the lack of flash in dolphin as well
 
so I took your advice and am trying to use opera... however, I cant get a lot of pages to load completely, some links dont work when i click them... just alot of overall problems...

any suggestions?

I have not run into that problem. Give me a link that is not loading properly or not working and I will try it on my tablet

well now it won't go to any page... when i get to the home screen with the ten speed dials. i will click on one and it will show the little progress wheel for a second and then won't go anywhere. a couple that are messing up are

First make sure you have a proper internet connection. If you do and it is still not loading pages then go to manage applications under settings (the tablet settings not opera) find opera and clear data.
 
i tried that and still no change... internet connection is great... same room as router... i even tried uninstalling it and installing it again.
