Root Flashed Katana 3.0 and lost Play Store.

I just got my Metro PCS LG Spirit 4G replaced, took it home and rooted it (doesn't everyone do that right away?), so I could flash Katana on it. It works fine, so far as I've tested, but the Play Store has vanished. How do I get that back? Do I need to put it back to stock and re-root it? Is there any way to download a working Google Play .apk for the Spirit?

Katana has an old custom blacked out play store which doesn't update automatically. I always tell people to use Samurai rom instead since everything updates auto and I'm constantly updating that rom. It is also a replacement for katana.

Anyways, I won't be updating katana any longer it'll stay as is, but I'll still maintain its thread. I don't remember too well, but I think you have to remove the blacked out play store with a root explorer then go to recovery and wipe cache and dalvik cache and reboot otherwise you won't be able to install another version. Then you can install play store from the play store.

Again it's been a while since I used katana, so I don't remember the steps too well.
