first off, OC'ing to 1.6Ghz over the stock 1.3Ghz provides noticeable improvements in speed and responsiveness in everyday tasks (i.e. other than in gaming). i would love to stay OC'd but it looks like it hosed my automatic brightness, which to me is almost a dealbreaker. i hate having to switch brightness around all the time and also knowing that something as basic as this got broken.
if i have auto brightness enabled in a dark room, and i put the tablet in the sun, the screen will go to 100% brightness (great), but if i cover up the light sensor or go into a pitch black closet, the brightness will still stay at 100%. if i go and uncheck and re-check the auto brightness box in settings, it reverts back to what the brightness should be in the darkness.
anyone experience this same issue?
