Root flashed new rom but forgot contacts

so I checked google and they're not there. Its been about an hour so i don't think they're going to show up by waiting. My question is if I restore will they be there so I can get them this time. Then flash the new rom again. Thanks

i restored my backup and they were there but strangely i was missing somce, no biggie though, better then missing all of them.
