I was trying to root my Samsung Galaxy S (AT&T SGh-i897) after the gingerbread update and the second part failed so I ended up with a semi bricked Phone, I used well can't honestly remember what I used due to using various programs to try to fix it. But after the failed root, I believe I was stuck in the semi-bricked state which I followed the directions on how to fix and decided to try out Cyanogenmod. I followed the Cyanogen instructions via the wiki page but failed to notice that the mod was supposed to be put on the internal SD card and not the External SD card so after Clockwork recovery install and flash I am now stuck a flashed phone that can only go from Clockwork recovery and download mode and the stock flashed start black samsung screen. (I've already bought a replacement and am waiting till my upgrade before I try the mod on the soon to be old phone)
So my question is what can I do with this now useless phone, I have been trying to figure out how to get it to work, installing a a mod or at least trying to get it back to stock eclair or froyo and go from there. I've tried following the instructions on how to push a room using ADB but it keeps telling me that I don't have root.
