Flashed vs Metro phones

When I was on AT&T upgrades came every 1 1/2 to 2 years. Seems like their phones lasted longer. Now 2 years on Metro. 1 Eris but no flash and 1x was killing me. 1 Indulge pos nuff said. LG Connect on #2. I could probably live with Metro's 3g network so... Has anyone else thought about going back to flashed over phones or is that no longer a option?

Flashing to metro is a waste of time as you can't get data.

Keep in mind that metro is actually pretty new to the smartphone market despite them being the first company to put out a LTE phone. The indulge was pretty low end and Metro's LTE network was grossly underdeveloped to say the least. They get better every year and are slowly but surely putting out quality(though buggy initially) smartphone handsets.

The esteem came out september of last year, the connect and attain came out in march and we'll have the lightray and S3 out before the end of the year. That's an update about every 6 months.

They're far from perfect but metro is doing an excellent job considering where they've come from.

Half of us turn off 4g to save battery. If you can watch YouTube on 3g what's left. Checking email. It just seems like Metro's phones don't last so good.

Metro Pohones are way too overloaded with bloatware that their APPs conflict with those from Android........kinda reminds me of the days of Netscape and IE explorer
