Root Flashing back to stock?

Alright, well I'm trying to fix my picture messaging problem, and someone I know suggested that I try flashing back to stock to fix it. I just have 3 questions though before I go through with the process:

1 - Will it affect my SD partition? (I have Area Rom v3.0 and I did an SD partition to get more internal space.)
2 - Will I still be able to restore all my data and apps using Titanium and My Backup Pro? (To see if one of the apps is causing the problem)
3 - Will I have to install Odin to root it, then to install Clockwork Mod, then install Area Rom v3.0?? :(

and one more additional question:

If let's say reverting to stock fixes my MMS problem, and I upgrade to Area Rom v3.0, and restore my data from when I still had the MMS problem, will the MMS be messed up again?

Thanks in advance for your help

Affect it? No, but you won't be getting the increased space any more. It'll just be a partition you can use.
2 - Will I still be able to restore all my data and apps using Titanium and My Backup Pro? (To see if one of the apps is causing the problem)
You'll have to reinstall your apps. Reinstalling the data may cause problems.

If you flash back to the original (rooted) ROM? Yes. It'll be rooted, but otherwise it'll be the ROM the phone came with.

and one more additional question:

Instead of all that, why not just install AR 3.1?

1. you will lose the internal storage, and sorry Ruk, but /sd-ext is formatted ext4 so you will not even be able to store stuff on it,

2 going back will fix your mms issues

3 you will be going back to Froyo so you will not be able to run AreaRom 2.x or above unless you odin the Bootloaders,

4. Just Hold Tight a week or so AreaRom 3.2 will be coming out and the MMS Pics is totally fixed in it,

Area Rom 2.3, 3.0 and 3.1 doesn't work for me. Well it does...but the MMS doesn't. It USED to before but then all of a sudden, the next day came, and it stopped working.

Hopefully 3.2 will work as PoorBoy said :o
