Root Flashing Htc evo 3D roms..

so when flashing these roms from the htc evo v, are the only main things that dont work mms? could we flash any ICS rom without trouble? very unclear about this and would appreciate any help xD would love to know if theres a bigger selection of roms to use

also, are there any workarounds for mms or any other problems we would get for flashing these roms? thank you for any answers!
