Root flashing question please help

I own a sprint EVO design and I want to.use it for boost do I bought a boost cheap phone activated service I have both msl codes so I manuslly copied all the info but nothing happened so.next I was going to try sms flash the stock boost EVO design image sms see if that works any insight would be awesome and greatly appriv
