Root flashing stock rom = unroot ?

I'm running rooted stock rom, and I've uninstalled a few bloat apps that I previously wasn't able to uninstall when unrooted.

Can I safely use the LG flash tool connected to my pc to flash the phone back to stock rom in the future?

Will that also unroot the phone ?

Flashing a stock ROM removes root due to the stock image not being injected with the su binary or root compromise. RootKeeper does not preserve root during certain root methods due to the phone not offering root protection in download mode respectively. RootKeeper is for custom ROM upgrades or flashable stock ROMS.

I recommend the modded LG flash tool 2014 found in my guide. It is a lot less cumbersome than UpTest Modwin, does not require Windows Enabler and does not crash that often compared to Modwin ,but still requires the small server and hosts mod due to the execution of BCDTool.

For insyructions ,please see my guide. LG FLASH TOOL 2014 can be found in the attached zip file.
