Root flashing tool and a rom for coolpad

Hey guys, i' m excited cause i managed to download a coolpad 5860 rom from a chinese site ths includes all files also a flashing tool specific to coolpad from yulong inc. It looks just like odin i thought someone could take a look at all this and maybe make sence of it the acual files are all in english but the flashing tool is marked in chinese
I figured if anything a dev could finally look through all system files and finally see a the info they were looking for!

Be careful though, I bricked my phone trying to test the Chinese 5860 recovery.
The American phone is a 5860e and uses a different chipset.

Just a heads up for someone who doesn't know and might try playing with it.

I rooted my coolpad 5860s expecting it to unlock for any network use but I messed with it. Now it does not give any network nor IMEI no. I have no back up too. the link you gave is expired. what should i do? I want to restore it like it was before.

Edit... The ZhuoDaShi Client seems to work like odin but it supports multiple devices...
(Wow we can learn from these guys...)
Brushing translates to installing or even flashing...

I also read that all the coolpad devices have like a code to block installation of recoveries and roms...
There are small patches for this that can be installed with the ZhuoDaShi client.

Exactly. Some of the Chinese models have an unlock-able bootloader that can be done in adb.

No idea about that... :/ PM'd a Dev in china about giving him a U.S. model to see what he can cook up.

Ok so im back on a coolpad and hit it with framaroot. Obusly you guys know anout the factory recovery this thing comes with (hold power on + voul. up and down) but i wanted to know will this thing get briked flashing gapps through the factory recovery
