Help Flashing touchwiz again

Hi everyone,

I need your help. As a new android user i am facing some issues with my phone and need your help. I might have downloaded a bad app or something. To cut a long story, my phone is freezing and its choppy. I cant even delete a widget's page anymore. I get an error msg saying touchwiz stopped working.
I need to back up my contacts, photos and most importantly some app data. I am going to move all my pics to the external sd. Contacts im not sure how to back them up so your advice is welcome.

Once i get all the above sorted, how do i flash a new touchwiz on the phone? Or can i just use the reset option? What does the backup option on the phone actually back up? Where can I see that information?

Please help me!
 
Are you rooted?

If you go to my user profile and look at threads created by me, there's one about backups that may help
 
Depends what you want backed up. But you can try "mybackup" from play. Backs up most things.

contacts should be in Google if you set them up that way
 
Since the OP's not rooted, I have taken the liberty of moving this to the general section and out of the All Things Root section. Hopefully we'll get more eyes on the issue here and get the problem fixed in a hurry.

Thank you for correcting the location of the thread. Honestly i got everything covered except app data. I have a lot of games and utilities apps which id like to save their data. I dont know how to back them up.
