Flaw in WiFi transfer apps could leave Android phones open to backdoor attacks

A new study conducted has confirmed that most apps that help people transfer files from Android to PC via WiFi leave some ports open or poorly secured, which can expose the device to attacks. The most vulnerable app is called Wifi File Transfer and it has over 10 million downloads in the Google Play Store.
