Help Flipboard removed?

[cheggerspop]

I noticed yesterday that Flipboard has been removed from my S3??

I did the software update last week (I'm on UK Vodafone if that makes any difference) and the software on my handset is now 3.0.15

There is no trace of it on my handset and I didn't remove it myself, I also can't find it on Google Play to reinstall.

Anyone able to offer any help or also had the same issue?

have you got a branded Vodafone handset?

I have unbranded on the Vodafone network and still have Flipboard installed. Infact it was updated yesterday to 1.8.4 beta 3, 87

It's from Vodafone but unbranded. It's really odd and more annoying that I can't just reinstall from Google Play.

when you power the phone up do you get the Vodafone logo?

Nope. However, managed to sort the issue by downloading the apk directly from the Flipboard website.

Thank you for your replies.

Flipboard officially launches on Android, in multiple app stores and for more countries -- Engadget

seems to be coming out of beta stage for all Android handsets.

I got an email on the availability of Flipboard. But I cannot find it on Google Play with my Galaxy S I phone and with my Galaxy Tab 10.1. So I wonder if it is because of the version of Android. Perhaps it supports ICS only?

I am on Sprint and Flipboard is right there on the page to the left of the home page.

Still not sure why it disappeared from my mobile, but I grabbed and installed the beta directly from their website -
