Help Flytouch 3 - android.process.acore error

hi there! i hope someone can help me with this problem:
i got a flytouch 3, and i keep getting this error message:
"The process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly"

what is the android.process.acore?

this keeps me from entering anything on the pop-up keyboard

i'm also trying to root my flytouch,
i downloaded the z4root akp file, but i keep getting the message: Not Installed

this appears on everything i download

Well you need to fix your first problem before you can install anything.

Either totally remove & delete the app that caused the problem (and any data and/or cache from the the settings) or reflash the tablet if you can't recall which app caused the prob.

thanx a lot! but how do i reflash the tablet?
i've rebooted it, by holding the 3 buttons in, but the error message is still there when i turn it on

ok i downloaded the TIM ROM, unzipped it, and put it on a usb stick, and inserted it to the FT3, but it won't open the files - it says "Cannot Open"

Can't do it from USB, has to be the 2 files onto a clean SD card, insert sd card then power up and let it flash, remove sd card and reboot once flashed, don't forget to take the 2 files off the sd card before trying to use it again.

Interesting enough there are a lot of guess of how to correct this issue. The one that seems to have worked for me, is going into settings, unmounting the SD card, after it is unmounted pulling the card and reinserting it where it automatically mounts.

My issue was trying to edit contacts I would get the error and have to force close. After going through the remounting of the SD card I was able to edit the contacts.

Very weird. Try the simple steps before rebooting, uninstalling, or reinitializing the phone.

This worked for me - from a web site ( freedune wordpress )
Lenovo Ideapad A1 Tablet

The problem was occurring due to contact syncing conflicts, the solution also lay in contact management rather than identity management. I took the following steps:
  1. Go offline
  2. Go to Settings > Applications > All > Google Services Framework, hit Force Stop
  3. Go back a level, go to Gmail, hit Force Stop and Clear Data
  4. Go back a level, go to Contacts, hit Force Stop and Clear Data
  5. Go back a level, go to Contacts Storage, hit Force Stop and Clear Data
  6. Repeat steps 2, 4 and 5 for good measure
  7. Reboot, just to be safe
After rebooting and going online, I restarted Gmail, and it started downloading my mail again. I have stopped getting the android.process.acore error now, and still have all my applications.

Thank you so much!!! I could find no help about this anywhere on the Lenovo support site, and only had this A1 for three days before this error message started to flash every few seconds, forcing me to close it. None of my emails would open when I tried to click on them either. I was going to return my new tablet until I found your fix!
