Help Fm radio app sound issue

Hi all,
The sound issue is that there really is no sound! my S3 international is rooted, using stock rom 4.1.2 nova launcher.
Radio was working fine before I did a factory reset for another issue which was with power amp. Decided last night whilst biking to use the radio for a change and....... Nothing came out of he earphones. Re scanned stations which found 30. So all good. Tried again. Nothing. Went to the app manager and erased the cache/data. Went to CWM and also wiped all cache. Reboot and still no sound. Using my earphones, laptop speaker, external speaker from the phone. Not one peep
All other audio is working fine ie movies, mp3s,youtube ect ect..
Only mods I have for audio is headset controller, and i also flashed the file where you can increase volume past stock. That's it.
I just uninstalled the headset controller. Still nothing. Should I reflash back to stock audio? Or anyone else experience this that can point me in the right direction? Really don't wanna reset back to factory... Though this would of course be the last resort... Thank for any advice guys and gals

No idea mate. Id have said the amp was broke but id guess radio uses the same amp as rest of the media.
Maybe try findin a copy of the radio app to flash?

Cheers, will try to find the radio app that I can flash. No idea where to look. If not factory it shall be
