Root FM Radio not workiing

I'm getting this error message in my Incredible 2
"Application FM Radio (in process com.miui.fmradio) is not responding."
The app is FM Radio version 1.0 on MIUI rom, android ver 2.3.5.

Is this the app that came pre installed on the phone? How do I get it working again?

Just a suggestion. Find the radio app in settings, applications, all, menu. Then clear data and cache. Should work.

Didn't work. Cleared data but not cache as that was not available.

Yeah that's the builtin radio for miui, you can look around for the HTC apk or else try spirit fm.

Try reflashing the ROM over itself

Which MIUI version are you running? The FM radio doesn't work in the most stable known 2.3.4 version (I think it was the 12.9 MIUI or something) That is one of the only reasons I stopped running MIUI.
Your other option is to download TuneIn Radio, it has all the stations in my area, and the reception is better than FM.
