FM RadioTuner?

[AlarmGuy]

Saw on a spec page somewhere (wish I could find again to reference) that a version of the Samsung Galaxy S2 (but maybe not the T-Mobile version?) has a built in FM radio tuner. Can anyone elaborate? This would be wonderful on jobsites to have an actual radio, and not have to be streaming data from somewhere, as not very often is a wi-fi connection available. Hope this is the right place for this question, as I just found this site, and just got the new phone less than a week ago, making me a total noob with this phone!
Thanks in advance to all!

The Samsung Galaxy Player (which is not a phone) has an FM radio receiver built in. And it works well. It's like the SII, but without a cell radio in it.

Don't know about any phones that have a radio, but there may be.

I'm sure others will chime in about this subject.

Some roms have it & som don't. Fairly sure your phone could do it. Maybe you could download FM radio app off the market. Headphone cable works as the antenna, due to the wavelength of FM (roughly the length of earphone cables).
