Your voice, data, Bluetooth and wifi transmitters are FM. I don't think the question you asked is the one you meant to ask.

I meant to ask if I can listen to music from my phone through car stereo without buying more hardware

Only if the car stereo has Bluetooth then just pair the phone and away you go.
Otherwise you'll need a bluetooth FM transmitter thingy like A2DP BLUETOOTH MP3 WMA SD MMC USB CAR KITS FM TRANSMITTER MODULATOR HANDSFREE | eBay

Doess the job very well.
