FM tuner

Bought a used android phone (MyTouch 3g) and was surprised it doesn't have a FM tuner. Do the new android phones have FM tuners? It is required to listen to the TV's at the gym and my old Nokia dumbphone had one so I just assumed they all did.

Many of them do... it's just a matter of how much system board real estate the manufacturer is willing to dedicate to a FM chip.
