Hello, I am Dr Proximo. I'm not a real doctor, I'm an aspiring nerdcore rapper and the name is based on a fictional persona who's a bit of a mad scientist experimenting in time travel. I bought my first tablet yesterday, an RCA 7-inch (with no specific name or model number on the box that I could see) with 4.2 Jelly Bean. It's not my first Android device, that was a netbook I bought on clearance from a store that was closing, and it crapped out on me after less than a week. I joined the forum because I have a few questions, and I know I'll have more as time goes on. I'm a fan of post-TOS Star Trek, Sherlock Holmes (including both modern TV incarnations), Weird Al, They Might Be Giants, Harry Potter, The Big Bang Theory, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Skyrim. I'm also a sucker for most Disney and Pixar movies, although I haven't seen Frozen yet, so no spoilers, kay? I've had stints DJ'ing student radio and internet radio, I used to publish a zine and may be doing that again soon, and I publish a podcast that I'm hoping to expand in the near future (with plans to connect it to the zine). I'm a former neo-pagan, currently an agnostic Discordian. I like cats and hate kids. Anything else?
