Help Focus mode - why do I still get notifications?

Hello all,

When I activate the concentration/focus mode on my One Plus 9 Pro, it still shows the icons of the apps on the lock screen.

For example, when I get a Whatsapp the icon is visible on the lock screen. The content is not displayed (like a classic notification) but I find it distracting anyway.

How can I set the concentration mode so that really no notifications or icons are shown at all?

Thanks in advance and best regards

Tobias

You will have to turn off notifications on the lockscreen for them to stop appearing there. The lockscreen is not part of the focus mode. It only stops the phone from showing notifications on the main screen and the notification bar. It is not tied in to the lockscreen, from what I understand.

Hey there, and thank you so much! But if I turn off notifications on the lockscreen than I will never get the notification on the lockscreen at all? I mean no matter if I use focus mode or just regular mode :(?

Correct. You have to toggle the lockscreen notifications back on.

IF you have the moto app, just head to the bottom left I believe, and in that has notifications on and off, that should turn it off, duration of peek display.
