Focus this thing

On the S5, there is kind of a circle and if I tap it it seems to help with focus. I guess the Cricket icon doesn't have that. Settings aren't much help. I hope the S5 just needs a new battery.

so the camera does not focus very well. that circle lets you help the camera focus on a certain object.....so yeah tapping it will help. you can tap on the screen on any object and the camera will adjust the focus to that object.

That's the problem. The S5 has that. This "Icon" apparently does not. How do I force it to focus?

not sure on the s5. there should be some auto focus setting

The S5 is broken. I'm stuck with this icon pos. The settings have nothing about focus.

A quick search turns up these specs for the camera on that phone-

5+ megapixel
LED flash, fixed focus
beauty mode, filters, timer

There's no focus circle because the focus is fixed and not variable.
So not surprisingly, you get what you pay for with a cheap device.
