Help Folder contents rearrange magically?

One of my Razr Maxx folders has suddenly started rearranging itself behind my back after I added a couple of apps to it. I rearrange the icons; next time I open the folder, they're in some random order. I rearrange the icons; next open they're in a different random order. Other folders, some of which have had recent additions, do not exhibit this behavior. This only started happening after the addition of the two new apps; but I can't think of any valid reason why that should cause random icon rearrangement. Has anyone else had this problem and been able to solve it? Thanks, all.

Are you using the stock launcher? I have never had this happen before and I use folders all the time. Strange indeed.
You can always try taking off the 2 apps you installed and see if it helps. You never know sometimes apps can do some weird unexpected things

Yes, I am using the stock launcher. I'd never had this happen to me before, either. I've considered removing the apps I recently added to the folder. Do you know if there's a limit, even a practical one, to how many apps you can put into a folder?

I believe it's something like 16 apps

My folder with all my Google apps just started doing this last night. Very odd.

Update: I seem to have hit my limit with 12 items in a folder. If I hold to no more than 12, they stay in the order I choose. I go to 13, they pick their own order (and it doesn't have to make any sense, either).
