Hi there,

I have a Samsung Xcover 2 and I working with an app called Field Move Clino. As many know Xcover 2 has a rather small internal memory and does not support app install on external SD. The app mentioned above uses maps so I must copy maps to my smartphone but the software doesen`t support taking files from any other place that the memory it has been installed to. So I am forced to copy maps to my internal memory, but because maps are pretty large I can not. So I was thinking that I could make a folder for maps in external SD and make a shortcut for that folder to the internal memory so that the app could take the maps from there, but I ca not do that because none of the apps that I tried from google play do that (ES File Explorer, File Widget, etc.).
Please excuse my english.
Thank you!

Best regards,

You have to make a symlink in internal memory pointing to the map in external memory. ("Shortcuts" are Windows things.) You'll have to install adb on your computer and issue the command

ln -s /path/to/file/filename.in.external.storage /path/to/link.in.internal.storage
