on my SGS2 it was easy to create a folder on any homescreen, just drag over one app onto another app and a folder was created.

but now in the G2 that function does not seem to exist :(

or have i missed something?

i have found some folder apps / widgets in the play store but they are not as good as what samsung had.

does the G2 have it and i have missed it?
any suggestions?

and i don't want to root my G2.

Yes, this works. And, you can change the folder color too.

No works fine, just drag one app shortcut onto another one and a folder is created.

If it helps any I noticed that I cannot create a folder or add to a folder if I'm bringing the icon from another screen. It seems like it has to be on the same screen to work.
